FoundByAI ("we", "us") helps local businesses get found on Google and AI search tools. This page explains what data we collect when you use foundbyai.co.uk, why, and what your rights are. We keep this deliberately short — if anything is unclear, email hello@foundbyai.co.uk and we'll explain properly.

What we collect

The free AI visibility checker

When you use the free checker on our homepage, we send the business name, trade and town you enter to an AI provider to generate a live result. We don't ask for your name, email or any personal details to run a check, and we don't store the businesses people check against any personal profile.

Enquiries and contact

If you email us or fill in a contact form, we keep that message and your email address so we can reply. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Becoming a client

If you sign up for The Clean-Up or Fully Managed, we collect what's needed to do the work: your business name, contact details, and access to your Google Business Profile as a "manager" — added and removed by you at any time through Google's own tools. We never ask for or hold your Google password.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details — Stripe processes the payment and shares with us only what's needed to confirm your order (your name, email, and which plan you bought).

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical logs (like IP address and request data) for security and performance — this is normal for any website and isn't used to identify individuals for marketing.

Who we share data with

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else without telling you first.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@foundbyai.co.uk and we'll sort it within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

If this changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged to existing clients directly.
